The Hotel Bucintoro offers 21 rooms that look onto the
Bacino di San Marco offering fantastic views from the San Marco Basilica
to the Doge's Palace, the unforgettable clock tower, the island of San
Giorgio and over to the Punta della Dogana. This lagoon was once
coloured by sails of the merchants, and today it is a tranquil panorama
of the local transportation boats, the vapporetti, that go back and
forth and the gondolas quietly carrying tourists for the after noon
serenade.
Each room, junior suite or suite is named after a sail boat and the
décor is just like the surroundings, inspired by sailing. |
| The lovely atmosphere of precious woods, brass, lights,
navigational maps and memorabilia all reflect a time period. Even the
smallest details have been taken care of and respected. It is the
tradition and the past that come together in perfect harmony with the
amenities and technology of the present, that make this hotel so unique
and functional. There are special rooms for the disabled, telephone,
safe, modem hook up, WiFi connection satellite TV and bathrobe. |
